Leviticus 20:26 – New International Version
“You are to be holy to me because I, the LORD, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.”
We are all hypocrites when it comes to being Holy. We all sin and fall short.
This text asks us to be Holy to God because He has set us apart. What excuse then? None! But hold on; being Holy to God is being reverent. Not using His name in vain. Not abusing our Holy Temples -our bodies- as instruments of destruction towards others and self. We are set apart and when we become worldly and accept a worldly rationale we become like those not set apart.
Look inward today and pray for Holiness in spirit, word -what comes out of our mouth- and deed.
