Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers righteousness on you.
Sowing righteousness is loving your neighbor as yourself. For most of us, it means to break up unplowed ground. That is to say getting rid of those things, pride, greed, prejudices, or social issues that cause us not to love wholly. We grow in Jesus by allowing God’s love to spread thru our whole being. We mostly dwell in the physical so to let go means to accept the blessing and power of the Holy Spirit to break us up and let new fertile ground grow in our being. It means accepting our role as Christians and not blending in but becoming separate from the world so that others can see God’s live in us!
