Devotion for August 25

Isaiah 40:28 NIV
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.”

As we pass by homeless people everyday. As we read about earthquakes, floods and famine are we questioning God? No we must not. He has surely warned us. He has told us of the pains of childbirth before the end of time. What we need to question is our leadership around the globe. The self serving antics of rulers and would be kings and fall down on our knees in prayer. Seek first the Kingdom of God and ye will be comforted. Our God is an awesome and mighty God that can change the direction of wind, rivers and mountains. What he wants is for us to recognize him and humble ourselves before Him and tell others of His mighty works.
