Devotion for November 2

Luke 11:2-4

He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.'”

The Lord’s Prayer can be very instructive. First, we worship God and invite His will to be ours. We do not give God the thanks he deserves. We definitely struggle with bending our will to His. While God has provided us with our whole world there are people who think that they have earned everything they have without God. Let us remember them in our prayers and beg forgiveness where we fail. Temptation is of Satan and it his His purview. God will protect you. Just ask!
